Pum’s favourite recipes…Warming Maple Apple Oat Bran

My new favourite way to eat oat bran is with apple, cinnamon and pure maple syrup, so delicious…

Pum’s Warming Maple Apple Oat Bran

Ingredients
  1. 1/4 cup oat bran
  2. 1 cup boiling water
  3. 1 apple cubed into small chunks
  4. 1 tsp. coconut oil
  5. 2 tsp. cinnamon
  6. 2 tsp. pure maple syrup
What Pum did
  1. In a pan combined all ingredients except the maple syrup.  Stirred over a low heat continuously for 10 mins.
  2. When thick and porridge-like, remove from the heat and serve drizzled with the maple syrup.

It’s getting so wintery in Scotland just now and this is just perfect on those cold mornings.
